Reminds me of when Villas-Boas suddenly was able to afford his buyout clause at Porto to join Chelsea

There's definitely some shady collusion going on in the PL at this point, given the small gaggle of clubs helping each other try and evade PSR for another year or two one loophole at a time

Apparently he knew pep was likely leaving last summer and that he was in the running to be his successor. Chelsea should subs replaced him there and then as it obviously turned his head and explains a lot about him and them last season.
