0-1 FT

Leeds and Forest officially safe.

It's between us and the Spam now.

Tomorrow night is huge. A huge, huge test of our progress under RDZ. If we win, we could well be safe before we play Chelsea (if West Ham fail to win at Newcastle).

Not entirely sure how I feel about that in all honesty... <laugh>
Yeah I certainly didn’t cheer when it got disallowed. My view is that we’ve gotten ourselves into this mess, it’s down to us to get us out of it, not relying on our fiercest rivals to “help” us.

An horrendous season, regardless of whether we survive or not, is going to be compounded with them winning the league and possibly even the CL. Footballing gods definitely ****ing hate us, that Europa triumph means we’ve essentially gotta take about 20 more years of **** now I reckon.

On the balance of it, the spectre of relegation was just too terrifying. I could see us languishing down there for decades if we dropped. It's worth Arsenal winning the quadruple to avoid that. Our idiot owners don't know how to navigate the Premier League, how on earth would they know what to do in the Championship?

A West Ham win would have put the wind back in the sails with two winnable games still to come.

Needs must.

Hard lines on the Spanners.
Very difficult to absorb that amount of pressure over 90 mins and not lose,

Probably guarantees them lot win the PL
(their remaining opponents are in beach mode, while
Citeh have at least one with something to play for) .

5 points needed.
Tomorrow really is a must win, as of the last two games I reckon we have more chance of points against the Chavs away than Everton at home! <yikes>

I have a sneaky feeling Leeds will still be up for this game on Monday. If your form has returned that may not matter, otherwise it might be trickier than you’d like.
I am under no illusion that tomorrow will be a walk in the park. Anyone thinking otherwise is slightly deluded and a tight game ahead in store I suspect...
