Forgot to mention yesterday: the BBC managed to report on Coventry's promotion parade by mentioning Frank Lampard at least half a dozen times, but not once did they say Coventry City in the piece

That's a preview for next season if ever there was one...

Let’s just hope both the players and the Board don’t let him down again. He got them promoted single-handedly but even a footballing genius can only carry so many passengers.

I bet the gooners are fuming - I thought Rice was nailed on.

Strange that Bruno can win it without winning a trophy, but when Kane won both the golden boot and the playmaker we were old that without a trophy it was impossible for him to win!

Thats not a poke at Bruno either he has been excellent its a poke the jouranalists double standards...
Yeah it was a joke when Harry didn’t win it that year, he was phenomenal.

Glad Bruno has won it though, he’s been excellent for Utd and the award should go to a player based on their individual season and not defined by a team’s success.

Valverde and Tchuoameni have apparently had two fights, the second one resulted in Valverde requiring stitches.
Both players are been fined €500k by the club! <yikes>

Half a million smackers for having a little semi-private tiff.

Remind me...how much did Chelsea get fined by UEFA for multiple breaches of the financial rules??

Mind you, that's only just over two weeks wages for those players, so I'm guessing they won't appeal ....

'It's a funny old game, Saint!'

Bournemouth are doing so well.
It must be amazing for those fans, particularly the older ones, who have been used to 3rd and 4th tier football and would, in ordinary times, have seen top half of League One as a decent season.
Ditto Brentford

Which is bad news for Citeh now
(two of their four remaining PL opponents
will not be in beach mode) .

City look 2nd best to Brentford at the moment. Can just see them losing today, taking any pressure off Arsenal to get a result against the Spanners tomorrow.... <doh>

I think that counts as an RCL for Brentford this evening...

If Hammers can take a point from tomorrow would be good because regards of our own issues I do not want to see the Goonz win the league and I don't see why we can't have both situations

We need to beat Leeds regardless

Nah West Ham need demoralising defeats.

Arsenal will win it as have Burnley (relegated) and palace (few days before the conference final) left so will be able to boost their goal difference in final two games.

All 300 of them. Deserve a bigger stadium.

I’d say the league’s theirs already, City ****ed it the other night at Everton.

Just need to hope PSG do to them what they done to Inter in last years CL final.
