The amount of doomers on r/coys who think Leicester's relegation to League One is a direct parallel to our season beggars belief
Leicester were trying to outrun FFP rules since at least 2015 and only stayed ahead of their abysmal wages to turnover ratio thanks to one miracle season and selling off one key player per season for a significant fee, only to screw the pooch after winning the FA Cup by loading up the squad with even higher wages on several players who underperformed which left them with about £2.50 to spend the following summer to comply with PSR, which is why they drifted down to the Championship three years ago
That is not remotely comparable to our status at all. If anything it's a warning to clubs like Villa or Forest who think they can spend their way out of the second tier and outrun their debts in perpetuity...but Blackburn already served as that warning yonks ago
