Villa's late winner today all but sealed CL qualification through the league for them. Can't see a 10-point gap being overturned with just 15 left to play for.

Hopefully they'll be fully focused on the EL when we go to Villa Park. Thanks to the last minute goal yesterday, that's now a must win.
One suspects our remaining opponents will be determined to see spurs relegated and will be fully committed.

I don't think that will be on their minds at all - Emery and Villa will be focused like we were last season on that semi-final, don't get me wrong they won't not be wanting to beat us, but there true focus may be obscured and I doubt that our predicament will even cross their minds. All our opponents will want to beat us because they all have something to play for.

We have to be careful we don't cross into gooner territory here where Sonny was accused of missing deliberately so they didn't win the title, lets not be as paranoid about other clubs as we are about refs!!

I don't think so.

Professional players don't think like fans do. Apart from the obvious grudge matches, they have other priorities.

And besides, the sad reality is that if we drop everyone apart from City (weirdly) will be 4-6 points worse off every season.

You are most probably right but out of our remaining fixtures, Leeds, Chelsea and Wolves do probably wish to see Spurs relegated. Possibly Everton too.

Tonight is when you realise that Tottenham being relegated makes business sense for other clubs in the PL..

No it doesn't, as we are one of maybe half a dozen teams who can afford to pump huge profits into teams like Crystal Palace in exchange for their better players.

Although we were never going to get him, we offered £70m for Guehi. How many other teams can do that?

Not your lot, now that Saudi Arabia's oil is stuck in Hormuz.

You'll see

We did think we went to 75

For all their faults the likes of Clattenburg and Poll - Offered the choice of these 2 or todays refs I would have the old boys everyday, standards of refereeing in ths country were so much higher than they are now.
Here's the problem: those refs have been releasing books that suggest that, actually, it turns out that what fans were saying about them for years wasn't far off the mark after all

Howard Webb casually admitted in his book that Alex Ferguson gifted him a £20,000 watch, while Clattenburg mentions the full-on goodie bags he got from Bayern and Barca. That's more than enough to call their impartiality into question

And then there's Jeff Winter mentioning that Alex Ferguson barged into the official's room after their 6-3 loss to Southampton saying he would never ref a Man Utd match again - which wasn't as empty a threat as it seems, considering Winter didn't officiate a single Man Utd match for over two years after that

It’s self explanatory how it’s irrelevant
So no, you cannot explain how it's irrelevant

Because it isn't
