Despite my comments Igor Tudor is very likeable. I enjoyed his put down of the journalist. 'We cannot discuss this like we are in a bar. You have my answer. ' Brilliant!

Jose sacked 2 days before a cup final

a bit rich from a club with an empty trophy cabinet

Every blame for our footballing decline is on the owners

I don’t hate them for sacking Jose, the timing was quite funny tbh as it pissed Mourinho off.

The issue is they’ve made far more bad decisions than good ones since 2020 and that’s why Spurs are where they are now.

They’re also way too reactive as well. That needs to change as football is a game with such fine margins.

We don't have a single individual at the club who has kicked a ball in their life and it shows big time with the way they run us like they are running a Sports Centre where you can hire the upstairs floor for parties and banquets.

I'm in it for the glory and I believe Jose is bigger than Spurs...we are as I say often...the kids with the rich daddy and that is the only reason we are talked of like we are relevent as a top club.

We are far too arrogant as a club and until recently a fanbase and we are getting what we deserve then I guess for backing the stupid decisions of the owners.

Nothing is going to change regarding ENIC's mentality...I mean we have 25 years of evidence to prove the point.

Why should a manager whose primary remit
is to ensure decent league football, when failing
to do that, be allowed to have their ego massaged
on the way out ??

More importantly, as his payout would have been significantly increased if he got us European football on his way out, why pay more for somebody who pissed a 2-0 aggregate lead toa team whose manager was in jail?

That's not the point. Jose should have been sacked in February after we lost 5 out of 6 games, scoring just 4 goals in the process. That was the time to do it but Levy was still in full Covid panic recovery mode and dithered.

Allowing Jose to stay on another two months and sack him the week of a cup final was just bonkers, especially as our record leading up to his sacking wasn't actually that bad, losing twice in eight games. Once you've committed to keeping the manager on, commit properly. Levy spent so much time sitting on a fence with so many decisions that by the time those decisions were made, the boat had already sailed and the chance to improve was long gone.

Because he got us to that final

This is football we are talking about

I think the ego was from Levy hence the timing of the dismissal

plus our egotistical fans who couldn't get over the fact that Jose was a Chelsea legend

I was well behind the jose appointment, I thought he’d have a proper point to prove with klopp and pep being taljed about as the in thing at that time.

We were again, looking good at the start of a season then we let the 3 goal lead slip against West Ham and reverted to type.

Would the cup final have gone any differently is like asking would the champions league final have gone any differently if moura had started? We’ll never know on either but I would say no, although we may have had a better chance.

Irrespective of my personal opinions of him,
Jose objectively failed in his primary remit (not so special then) .

And so he got the boot.
The whens of it have no bearing on the whys.
