Napoli look set to bomb out of the CL, while the agent of Luca Marianucci and Giuseppe Ambrosino has accused the coach of lacking the courage to use young players yet also stunting their development by not letting them go out on loan

Ah yes, sounds like Conte is back in form...

Carrier bagged.

Not sure why they sacked Toppmoller after a 3-3 draw with Bremen the other day.
They're currently 7th and they've got games against Hoffenheim (3rd) and Leverkusen (6th) coming up.
Odd time to be going with a caretaker with no first team management experience.

More importantly, play us next week without (now) any chance of qualifying. Should be a stroll then.

I’m enjoying the debate after Rooney said (in response to Walcott’s question) that his Utd 2008 team would “batter “ the current Arsenal team.
On the BBC poll, 82% agree.
That Utd team won the PL & CL double. It had Vidic & Ferdinand, Scholes & Carrick and a front line of Ronaldo, Rooney & Tevez, who by this stage of the season had 22, 10 & 9 goals respectively.
But this Arsenal team does have Gyokeres :emoticon-0105-wink:
Btw, I don’t like these historical comparisons; you can only beat your peers, not history. It’s a pointless debate at the end of the day.

Diego Costa with some...interesting comments about Antonio Conte and his sex life (or lack of).

In all seriousness, if what he's saying his true about Conte and how everyone felt about him, I'm surprised they were able to win the league with 93 points and reach 2 FA Cup finals (winning one) during his tenure as Chelsea manager.

So now the BBC have a think piece about too many games, what with Haaland's goalscoring form cratering in the last month

Not something to mention when it was impossible to have three weekends of PL football in a row for the first three months of the season without an international break barging in, though?

Not to back Arsenal on anything, but that Utd team had Wes Brown at right-back...

Rio Hatate gives Celtic the lead in Bologna and then gets sent off in the 34th minute. <doh>
Two really silly challenges. Just baited into a pretty soft red.

The only < FACT > on this matter is that the Spurs
double side would have crushed any league
champions that followed.
