Big talk that he will be sacked if they lose tonight.

After only 4 games would be absolutely nuts but so far he looks well out of his depth and has said some utterly bizarre things. I don’t think he understands how football works in Glasgow where winning is absolutely everything if you’re Celtic or Rangers
They did what Forest did and brought in a systems manager part-way through the season.
They don't have the players to suit him and he's incapable of changing his style.
Not sure why people keep doing this with predictable results.

Clubs seem obsessed with redefining the wheel. Nancy is definitely the sort of manager who needs a pre season and time to get his system and methods across to players.

The timing of his first theee games was all wrong and last night’s defeat has only pushed him closer to the exit. Fans aren’t having him at all and he keeps saying bizarre things.

Personally I think he’s done for but seems he will be manager on Sunday at least. A big win there could buy him more time but you’d think anything less than that will be the end after just 5 games.

I know Scottish football because I nearly signed for Carlisle! <laugh> Yeah, he's ****ed.

I have said here that I have not been particularly enjoying premier league football this season (our form and performances not helping), but this week the Man U v Bournemouth and Newcastle v Chelsea have been a great watch for the neutral, will come back down to earth with 5:30 KO today.

With possibly a resounding bump..... :bandit:

I'm just gonna say this here before any of you guys mention it.

Saliba's challenge on Barry was a penalty and we got lucky VAR didn't give it. It was soft, but Saliba doesn't get the ball and (tamely) kicks Barry's leg first. Penalties have been given for less than that.

Lucky Arsenal tonight. That's what happens though when you try to play on fine margins.

I see the United manager was given time and the team is improving. Its what happens.
Conceded six goals in two games - you don’t pick up many points with that kind of defending.
Just when the attacking play looks fluent and threatening, the defence has been very leaky.
He’s definitely got an improving team, but his inflexibility and inability to adapt his formation and tactics to match the opponent is still proving costly.
Signing Cunha and Mbeumo for around £125M was very good transfer business for a change.

So the Premier League isn't going to comment on Man Utd jetting off to Saudi Arabia to play a mid-season friendly in February, I take it?

And yes, the reason given is Brennan Johnson is solely responsible for the club's financial shortfall due to lack of European football
