Are you surprised Coventry lost to a mistake by a defender trying to pass back to his goalie from the half way line and messing up?I'm not.I would get the FL to send every player an enlarged Christmas card of the half way line.Players today spend so much time passing backwards, forwards, sideways to each other around the halfway line...drives me nuts.Wingers receiving the ball.....and passing backwards straight away instead of heading to the opposing goal!Who started this crap?
Absolutely awful pass, too. Nowhere near enough power.

Arsenal lose their last three games and drop out of the top 5.

I think there's a serious chance this happens, I'm not even joking. It's gone under the radar a bit because of our Champions League semi-final run this season, but our form since losing to West Ham at home has been beyond humiliating.

If we do genuinely finish the season out of the top-5 though, he shouldn't even get next season.

CL football should have been a shoe-in, it wasn't even something I'd considered not happening, and instead it looks like it's going to go right down to the wire. All because we couldn't get a win against West Ham, Everton, Brighton, Brentford or Bournemouth. Pisstake.

Your last game is Southampton. An absolute banker. Not even sure you miss out if you lose all 3.

Never mind. We got a point at Anfield, which now takes us to 68 points. I reckon we only need 1 more point from our final 2 games to secure CL.

It's a joke that it's even got to this point, but we are where we are.

74 pts theoretical max. At least 15 pts worse than last season.

Again, I stated last season was his equivalent
of Spurs 2016-17 (though Spurs only dropped
another 9 pts the following season) .

Cheer up though.
If the pattern repeats, you have a CL final to look
forward to (though the opponent could be the Poool ... ) .

Also, booing your own player, who then plays them onside for the equaliser. <doh>

I can assure you, if we have another/identical season to this in 2025/26, Arteta will not last beyond that season. There is an expectation on him to deliver and more fans are beginning to have question marks about whether he can deliver or whether he's the guy before the guy who eventually succeeds here.

Time will tell.

Emulate Spurs 2018-19 (finish 4th on the last day of the
season, epic CL run to the final) , and Arteta must go ??

If what you've said here actually transpires, then that would be:

6 seasons with no trophies at all, not competing for the league, being runners-up in another competition...whilst we're watching our rivals lift silverware and we're twiddling our thumbs.

Yes, he absolutely has to go if he can't deliver trophies next season. The top teams need to be winning things. Teams with lesser quality and lesser investment are winning things and we are not. We will not be able to retain our best players if we do not shake this tag of being 'nearly men'. Assuming he's backed with the players he wants in the Summer, then he simply has to deliver next season, it's non-negotiable.

Ancelotti is being tipped to take over at Rangers.
Not Carlo, obviously. It's his son Davide, who has served as his dad's assistant at various clubs.

Everton have announced that their women's team is going to be playing at Goodison.
It will also be used for select U21 games.
It'll be interesting to see how this develops.

The Mail are claiming that Taiwo Awoniyi is in a medically induced coma following his surgery.
He collided with a post in the 88th minute of Forest's draw with Leicester.
The club has issued a couple of statements that simply say he's recovering well.
Hope that it's nowhere near as bad as it sounds.
