We get ex Chelsea managers who were "serial winners" and get nothing... they get an ex spurs manager who has won nothing in England and immediately win a pot

I struggle to recall a single fortuitous moment in modern football that didn't have Chelsea at its centre.

I am convinced that Abramovich made a pact with the devil. It is the only rational explanation as to how something so thoroughly undeserving has enjoyed so much success.

Wouldn't be surprised to see their fans turn on him after that.

I would be fuming if we played like Chelsea did in a final against a seriously weakened team.
 
Another rock solid performance by Cow-in-hen Curly-hair.

Wouldn't be surprised if he moves this summer. Needs to be playing regularly at his age.

We were linked with him last January IIRC, and they were asking £30m

When somebody has played more internationals in spite being the No2 keeper than they have top flight games, it's little wonder we looked elsewhere

That's a bit harsh. He's been #2 to one of if not the best GK in the world.

Whenever I've seen him he's looked quality.
 
I watched Real Madrid v Sevilla today.Real did everything but score while their opponents stood back in lines and defended.About the 75th minute(?) they brought on someone by the name of Luca Modric from their bench.5 minutes later he scored the goal.Result.Real Madrid 1 Sevilla 0. Worth signing do you think!!!???
