Just a reminder, 3-4 years ago r/coys were terrified that Everton would overtake us because of their new billionaire owner

At this point Tranmere are annoyed that they haven't gotten closer to making a local derby part of their fixture list
Everton have spent a lot of money on their squad and managers, though.
They've also progressed well with their stadium, which looks like it could be a big improvement.
They've basically done a **** ENIC speedrun and they're struggling.

And on paper they are a "bigger" club than Spurs (league champion tally etc) .

Bournemouth getting smashed by Burnleylona in the first half, apparently.
Wouldn't surprise anyone if they swapped places at the end of the season, would it?

Kurzawa's got a goal for Fulham, prompting the question: when did he join Fulham?

Bournemouth and Forest seem to be the most likely PL
clubs to exit R3, beyond the five aleady guaranteed to go.

Would be a proper R3 upset IMHO if any of the remaining
games were to yield PL victims.

Chelsea really are going for it this window.

Badiashile done the other day, they've announced Fofana and Santos today, they're trying for Enzo Fernandez and sounds like they offered €85m with Benfica rejecting it and insisting he only leaves for his release clause of €125m (so watch this space) and Romano says they're now entering talks for Marcos Thuram.

Seems Foyth gave away a penalty to Real Madrid while playing for Villareal. Will he ever return to the PL I wonder?

Well we've had that conversation before. But it seems by changing owners (if they really have) it's still dodgy as. Have we completely given up on FFP?

Agree with you on Bournemouth and Burnley swapping leagues. From what I’ve seen of the championship, Burnley and Sheffield United seem a level above the rest, whilst Bournemouth have slipped back into their pre Gary O’Neill form. I reckon they’re doomed.

FFS, you're supposed to give me spoiler warnings for the next month's worth of replies to SpursWeb tweets...

Newcastle back in it with another offside goal, but this one barely raises a mention because the premier league side benefitted from the decision. Trippier with a superb corner to create the goal his first touch. Newcastle will get at least a draw now.

Actually wanted Newcastle to get through as with no Europe and FA cup over, their run in is going to involve a very light workload compared to all the other top 4 candidates.
Possibly, but the teams who do well at the end of the season have usually been playing many games and have built up form and momentum. Missing out on a chance to actually win some silverware might be a setback for them.
