Not on the scale of the three clubs I mentioned
They were paying Joe Cole £100k a week back in 2010. That's the exact same financial ****ehousery that Man Utd and Chelsea were guilty of at the time, with The Sheikh Mansour Team happily joining in when they learned that maybe paying Roque Santa Cruz double what anyone was willing to pay him might not be the best idea

Impressive opening goal for the Harry Kane team by Paul Smyth. <applause>

Forest v Villa later. A win for the visitors would take Gerrard above Liverpool.
A six goal margin win for the home side would take them out of the relegation zone...

Can the VAR cameras when set for use at
new WHL cover all the angles/positions ... ??
I don't know. You'd have thought that they'd be able to do it at most stadiums, though.
No idea why they couldn't or didn't manage it at one of the newer ones.

Ridiculous numbers

Averaging 35 goals a season for 20 seasons.

People are rightly praising Haaland for his recent form but I’ll be amazed if he gets anywhere near Ronaldo and Messi numbers throughout his career
He might be the next one to reach those kinds of heights but he needs longevity, which cannot be guaranteed and even then he is likely to lose some pace and mobility once he gets to early 30s.
So I doubt it, but if any player looks remotely likely, it’s him.

I have said on a couple of threads that i fear he will be suffering by his early 30s. The man/boy is mountain and has incredible acceleration, pace and power all of which will put massive strain on his joints and tendons.
I see knee and hip problems in his future. Sincerely hope i'm wrong because he's real talent that i would be happy to see have a full career.

He may have to replicate Shearer in that regard too and switch his game up a little.
Heading to Italy in his twilight years may help too, if they're still playing a slower game there.

Maccabi Haifa 2-0 Juventus FT.
So exactly the same scoreline that we had against Haifa a couple of years ago.
Apart from our 7 goals...

City deserved to lose for wearing red. Shameless.
Their keeper's kit is also too similar looking to it in open play, for me.
