Don’t get me wrong, I get it, and I understand why rival fans don’t want to see us being happy (which goes both ways naturally).

When you beat Leicester with those two late goals from Bergwijn at the King Power, I was fuming. And it didn’t help seeing all the Spurs players jumping on top of each other and embracing each other. But I couldn’t blame you for the plethora of emotions on display either.

Truthfully, I think the reason why those type of comments bother me is because I’ve been hearing them way too much from players AND pundits this year.

Ruben Neves said we celebrated like we won a trophy when we beat Wolves.
Ashley Young said we celebrated like we won the Champions League when we beat Aston Villa.
Chris Sutton said we acted like we won the league when we beat West Ham.
Andy Gray and Richard Keys yesterday said we were over celebrating as we’d ‘only beaten Fulham’.

The narrative is tiresome and, frankly, players and ex-players should know better.

Enjoy it whilst it lasts mate, Young, Sutton, Keys and Gray, mmmm now what is it that links those 4 names particularly - lets be nice and just call them sad twats!

These comments bother you because you've never held West Brom to a draw with a 95th minute equaliser...

Chelsea's match against West Ham has been moved from Sunday to Saturday.
The Chavs travel to Zagreb on Tuesday, so it had to be brought forward.
The Premier League still hasn't confirmed the kick-off time. <doh> Ludicrous.

Man Utd have been absolutely ripped off this transfer window. Their three big transfers for around £200 million is madness. Shows the level of desperation that they have fallen to having to chuck money around like this to get signings over the line. Anthony is more like a £30-£40 million player absolute tops. Christ they could have had Bergwijn for £25 million (who is an equivalent player IMO) and saved themselves about £65 million!
In Anthony, Utd have paid for a player with potential but the price assumes he will realise that potential. Ajax obviously wouldn’t sell for £40M plus multiple add-ons.
Martinez looks overpriced given his obvious weakness.
Casemiro is overpriced because of his age.
Malacia, however, looks a steal!

Is there any way they can both be awarded a 3-0 loss?

Without knowing the Croatian season calendar well,
this would be an example where distributing UEFA
match weeks across tues - thurs irrespective of
competition, would be far more equitable overall.

Dinamo's next match is 4pm local time on Saturday, equivalent to 5pm GMT, which I'm sure Waluigi will bring up if his lot get the Saturday lunchtime kickoff...

Ross Barkley has had the last year of his contract at Chelsea cancelled by mutual consent.

Remember Baba Rahman, the left-back that they signed from Ausburg in 2015?
He's played 15 games for them in those 7 years, he's 28 and he's still got two years left.

Could be in ex-Spurs too but Parker sacked at Bournemouth… not sure what an Earth they’re expecting with that squad to be honest. It screams “back to the Championship we go”.

Shows you how times have changed.

How would Keithy have fared today, if he had the
1978-79 early season 7-0 and 5-1 thrashings
by the Poool and them lot ??

I went to the 7-0 game , it was the game where I had the wheel trims nicked off my Mk IV Cortina even after I had paid a young scally to look after my motor , I eventually got over the loss but those wheel trims took ages to replace

I don’t listen to any of them anymore. But I’m almost certain the top 2 this season will be City and Liverpool. Of course people can get carried out and excited but I’ve been around long enough to know 3 games is far too early to write off or suddenly get behind anyone unexpected.
Certain? That's too strong. A strong possibility, maybe, even a probability but certain it is not. To be fair you did say 'almost' certain which means it's not certain is it. <laugh>
I will be tempted to hold you to account if the top 2 are not City and Pool. :emoticon-0157-sun:

Any takers now for the following wagers on at the halfway point :

1. Top of the table will finish at champions
2. One of the top two will finish as champions
3. Two of the top three will finish in the top 3
4. All of the top three will finish in the top 4
