Davies is on honeymoon and Moura's not expected to go to the World Cup.
Elneny is Egyptian and they didn't qualify. Ziyech retired from international football.
Coufal's Czech and they didn't make it, either. Lanzini hasn't played for Argentina since 2019.
Zaha's Ivory Coast side didn't qualify and you're right about Jamaica not making it.

So it's one of Schlupp, Partey or Xhaka and the arrest was in Barnet?

Arsenal are fecked.

I think Xhaka's still on holiday with his family.
Partey played a half in Arsenal's behind-closed-doors friendly v Ipswich on Saturday, though.

I hate speculating on these matters, but a lot of the signs seem to point to Partey being the perpetrator. Sign aren’t looking great.

I don't care who it is or who he plays for - it's vile behaviour and as has been said before I hope that the victim gets all the support she needs and that the club whoever it is does the right thing.

The FA and the PFA have to get grips with these issues (as does society in general to be fair), but the money and arrogance within the game seems to be making the players believe that they are both gods gift and above the law.

The Scum have added some details and the alleged rape took place abroad, apparently.
The victim was "on holiday in the Med", from their description.

Can't think why...

Partey was in Marbella during that time...

I'm not sure if this means anything, but no Arsenal players or club account have posted anything on Instagram or Twitter since these reports came out. Whereas Spurs players and club are still posting like normal, even more so in the last few hours.

I've got a horrible feeling about this...

The media really haven’t played this well - surprise, surprise.

Whilst I get their job is to report news as and when they get it, a lot of people are having their name brought into a conversation about being a potential rapist through public speculation. To say that can’t be nice would be an understatement. Hopefully Ben’s posted that without any knowledge of what’s going on but you can’t help but feel he has possibly done it to ensure his name doesn’t get brought up any further.

Ben is no doubt a wealthy man from his football exploits. However, I have a feeling he might be able to buy out Elon Musk's Twitter share with the Libel damages he'll be getting when the dust settles on this grubby affair!

In fairness a lot of fans of most clubs on twitter act like utter thundercunts.
If this story is true, a woman has been abused yet it's being used to score points and drag people's names into with no thought of the implications.

All I see is another such allegation against a pro in a
top-flight league. Given this is not nowadays a very
rare experience, tis time to really get to grips with the
psychology of both abuser and abused and end this stuff.

Whoever it is appears to have gone full Mendy.

Oh dear. Well, this doesn’t look good.
That prick claimed that Partey had travelled to Germany earlier and then deleted it.
It may well turn out to be him, but I wouldn't trust anything that Wheatley posts.
He's definitely persona non grata at the Emptirates for the foreseeable future.

"He was arrested while he was asleep at his home in Barnet at roughly 3am in the morning, with the first allegation relating to an attack that took place in Marbella last month."

Oh.

As I said. All the information available suggests it is him.

The fact he’s not travelled with the squad to Germany only further fuels the speculation.

I don't know that he hasn't travelled, but Arsenal not posting anything about flying out is odd.
I know that Spurs love posting players getting on the plane videos.
Perhaps that's not something that most other clubs do, though?
