Every ref that avoids giving decisions against Liverpool only heaps more pressure on the next one to do the same. We all know the narrative is that this race "must" last until the last game of the season, and woa betide any official who stops this from happening. If they give as much as a 50/50 against Liverpool they are going down in history as the official who stopped the quadruple (forget how City are still favourites for the league). So while the bias is always there, it is hardly surprising that it's getting even stronger.
Keita committed a red card offence last night. Fabinho did on Son. Everton had a penalty shout that would be given most weeks. Sterling had a goal chalked off vs LFC that looked clearly onside.
This is probably an 8 point swing in just 6 weeks of football.
If Wolves beat Man City 3-0 (unlikely) then City and Pool are equal in Pts, goals for and goal against. The 2 games between them ended 2-2. If they then match results to the end of the season - how is the title decided?

I think City deserve it more, by dint of the fact that they have only spent £933m under Pep but had to play the whole season without a striker. A crying shame.
I think the clear bias shown to Varpool on an almost weekly basis is what Pep was getting at when he said `everybody supports Liverpool`, he can see what the rest of us can see, a media infested with Pool affiliates who are desperate for them to win the PL, and a group of weak / biased / incompetent referees who appear to be doing all they can not to derail that dream. No referee is going to give a decision against Varpool that ends their title chances, they won`t want the resultant media shiete storm that would inevitably follow. Pep knows what`s going on, but he can`t directly call out the favouritism, as he will appear bitter and will likely face a charge.
Give it to the team which made such a result possible
