Good to see Trippier back in action.

A 25-yard free kick to win it against Woolwich next week would be magical and atonement for *that* own goal against Chelsea.

Feyenoord score a 96th minute penalty to effectively hand the title to Ajax.
Absolute bullshit call. Cowwuption, as Declan Rice would shout loudly in an official's face.

More than edges. They have a considerable advantage now.
I don't think that 4 points in that situation is a lot.
If it comes into play, then Liverpool will have won and City will have lost.
That's a minimum of 2 points there. Another 2 isn't a massive gap, for me.
Strangely, both have to play Wolves and Villa in their final 3 games. City have not found Wolves easy opponents. There might be a twist. Hopefully not.
Can't see Slippy G going all out against Klopp's lot, either.

Klopp complaining that Spurs defence refused to surrender (for once!!!!)

Pep taking credit for his wonderful victory. Is he taking credit for his wonderful defeat v Real Madrid too I wonder?

Have Spurs another Double to their name? Knocking Man City out of the CL a couple of seasons ago....and seemingly knocking Liverpool's chances of the PL this season ( not to mention their chance of 4 trophies!).

.....and Arsenal given a free goal by the Leeds goalie. (Was he got at before the game????)

All the extra unnecessary credit that Fraudiola gets also annoys me. He buys incredibly expensive players and when they play well he gets credit for improving them. As if they were not going to get better in their previous teams. In Foden's case the pundits often refer to how clever his 'nurturing' was, and how mistaken other people were saying he should have gone on loan. Fact is that Foden is a special talent and he could easily have been playing in the PL a couple of seasons before he started to at Citeh. Whether he is better now having not had those PL games (but with the special Fraudiola training) compared to the level he would have been at is arguable. It is most certainly not a foregone conclusion that he is better having stayed at Citeh. But there's this mystique about Fraudiola that probably wouldn't be there if he had to manage, say, Burnley. But surely (1) the bestest manager ever could manage any team and (2) the bestest manager ever plus one of the biggest budgets ever might have won a few Champions Leagues?

Bad results for us today

Needed the toffee men to be sweating on the last day and it's cup final for us on Thursday...draw useless
Need a draw or loss for Everton at home to Brentford. Means they need something against Arsenal. Even if we beat Burnley.

Everton seem to have some momentum and Brentford’s last points were against us

The sticky toffee puddings will be on the beach v Arsenal

It’s the Toon I pin my hope on who have won 7 out of their last 8 home games with the single loss being a 1-0 v Pool

We need to smash them on Thursday to break their hearts imo

Too many ifs required now I think. 3 games left and in need of a 2-game swing. Highly doubtful, especially the level of opposition Arsenal are facing after us - and that’s even assuming we win the NLD. Only got ourselves to blame, bottled too many bankers this season.

Looking forward to next season though, lot of optimism for that. Think I may finally get my wish of seeing the back of Winks and a few others too.

We ain't beating the gooners.

They simply need to sit back, stifle the midfield and we will simply huff and puff.

Then hit us on the break or with a set piece.

Arteta ain't a great manager at the moment but he ain't a moron either.

"I am sorry, I am the wrong person to ask about because I don't like this kind of football. But that is my personal problem. I think they are world class and I think they should do more for the game."
