Newcastle bought for £305 million

Chelsea bought for £4.25 billion

Please explain how Chelsea are worth 14x what Newcastle are?

Something wrong here.

Chelsky are valued 2 bn odd by the Deloitte "Money league" etc.
The fact there is been consistent silverware also makes
them N times more valuable than the Toon.

But again, the jump from 2 to 4+ bn is not clear
(the Roman loan debt question etc) .

Burnley IMHO are going to need at least a non-loss
from the Spurs game (so PLENTY of time for mega
training sessions vs Brighton-ball) .

Saudi Arabia have yet to hand over 1.6 biilion in free money

If we didn’t have Conte I’d be outside Levy’s house right now waving a “Get Potter” banner.

He’s absolute quality.

I’d rather have him than Poch back. Problem is if Conte leaves then Kane will want out again too.

Potter would be a long term manager and another project.

It's tough to gauge

The big issue with Nuno was that the players never respected him, which was always going to end in tears based on Connor Coady's comments about Nuno ruling over Wolves with a combination of fear and deep respect - and since you can likely count the number of players on one hand who had the latter, the former was never an option and it unraveled

If Conte does walk, then either we take the easy option and get a coach with a Big Reputation™ in (and Mancini has also been linked in the last couple of weeks) under the assumption that the short-term reaction will keep the squad together, or we find a coach with similar qualities to Poch who galvanises the squad into his vision - but what we don't do is bring in somebody thinking they can steady the ship for a season before we look elsewhere, because last summer was like pissing mayonnaise because of that
