They don't have the quality. GD is still - IMO - the best measurable statistic to tell you about the quality of a team over a large period of a season.

4th is done - Arsenal had to capitalise on Tottenham losing and didn't. United have 3/4 games left they can't and won't win.
Utd's next three games are massive: Liverpool, Arsenal and your lot.
Your league campaign could be totally finished by the time that you play them, though.
If you beat Arsenal and West Ham and the top 2 also win, then you'll have nothing to play for.
Tuchel may choose to rotate and experiment, though it might be too big a fixture for that.

Looks uncannily like he was taking up 2/3 of the road and refused to budge...

Not sure what happened here, of course, but it looks like he hit the other car.
He's ended up on the wrong side of the road, too.

I think we'll be playing hard until the end of the season due to the uncertainty over the future of the club, plenty of players now are playing for new contracts or moves. As dismal as our recent record against United is, we don't often lose at Old Trafford.

If they beat us they beat us mate.

My **** jokes on a forum won't change that<laugh>

Its the biggest game of their season so I fully expect them to last a good 20mins before we bang 5 in:bandit:

They just seem defeated, I think it'll go the other way - LFC off to a quick start then tired legs in the last 20 as the Benfica and City games physically take their toll.

Weve had games like that all season tbf, start well score a few then concede silly ones late on. Too many games for me to be comfortable with anyway. :emoticon-0112-wonde

And utd are truly a shambles at the moment and that's not even on the grass.

Every game is a must win from now til the end so I can't complain if we don't win the lot cos after last season Allisons goal apart, it was horrid compared to this<laugh>

Tbh I can see City throwing everything at the CL as that was the real reason he who must be called Pep was recruited. He knows that unless he wins the CL with city he will not be considered a true success in years to come

Which is why all PL clubs must do their utmost to
ensure Spurs always qualify for the CL whenever Citeh do.

I see where you are coming from but the problem for Pep is that if one domino falls so could the rest, look what happened to Leverkusen in 01/02 when they ended up losing the title on the last day (having led throughout) as well as the Pokal final and CL Final.

Pep has to go all out for all competitions whereas Liverpool can spread the load. If we assume the CL Final is contested between LFC and City it would be a huge moral blow for City going into that final having lost the PL and FA Cup to Liverpool in a matter of weeks.

And how damaging would it be for Pep's legacy if Liverpool secured a domestic treble on his watch? Even if he won the CL I'm not sure he could stake any claim to have been a better manager than Pep in their time in England.

Good points tbh.

FWIW klopp has done a far better job for me in terms of taking a team from 8th to Champions, and challengers, plus winning the CL and making cup fi also and winning them and also in terms of finances.

I know I am in a minority but He who must be called Pep has spent a BILLION pounds since he arrived in July 2016.
And that's on top of inheriting players like Debruyne, Aguero, kompany, Silva, Stirling etc.

Plays good football but tbh any club spending that kind of money when they already had those players should be winning everything including the CL.

They had twins and the boy died during the birth, apparently. Very sad.

My son died at birth 27 years ago... was 2 months premature...****ing rough and very hard to get over tbh.

Things have moved on a bit since then as we got no birth cert so no death cert so no funeral...at least that is not the case today.

But will be a rough time for them.

It's shocking how many things were "normal" until very recently.
Sorry to have reminded you of some horrible memories.
