Bloke was magic… type of player that could make anyone fall in love with football.

That whole Brazil era was just nuts, mate. Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Kaka, Cafu, Carlos, Adriano, Robinho, Romario… how many world class players did they want?! <laugh>.

Agree on Zidane as well, guy just floated by players. I still remember that game where he “out-Brazil’d” Brazil at the World Cup. Different gravy.

For Spurs, Modric will always remain my favourite, the man made football look too easy. Still a baller now at 36.

Dani Alves has rejoined Barcelona at the age of 38.
Because they don't have enough diving pricks.

Unbelievable crowd for the 5th tier. Over 1,000 more than Bournemouth's capacity.
Shows how healthy our game is - and exactly why a Super League isn't needed.
Over 20,000 at Ipswich and Sheffield Wed in League One yesterday too.
So many fans who don't lose faith or hope despite dropping down the leagues; only in England can fans of a 3rd, 4th or 5th tier team believe that they can climb to the top. Notts County, founding members of the football league and former F.A.Cup winners, have been down there a while, but their fans stay loyal. and don't give up.

Sunderland v Bolton had 32,368 in September, which isn't far off Barca v Alavez (37,278).
It's one of the reasons that I'm so opposed to B teams in lower leagues.

There's a couple of teams in Germany who might disagree

...okay, only one of those teams actually has fans due to being an existing team and not a walking billboard for an energy drink, but it was either that or make a joke about Rangers

There's a few big sides in 3 Liga this season, to be fair.
Kaiserslautern, Magdeburg and 1860 Munich have all got decent histories and plenty of fans.
The 5th tier is amateur and regional, though. Attendances are in hundreds, rather than thousands.
