It was actually a decent save by De Gea, even if Noble did stare at where he was going to place it:

At a good height for the keeper, but I've seen a lot worse go in.

They tried to do what Villa did but the gamble didn't pay off. Ironically, it was Villa who beat them in the play offs 2 years ago.
And Leicester. And...

It's easy to criticise Norwich, Fulham, West Brom and the rest for yo-yoing, but this is the alternative.
Spend a few years in the Championship chucking money at it and hope you go up.
If you don't, then you're probably going into deep, deep waters and possibly drowning.

I.) i have which is why i said top players
ii.) It never has so what point are you making?

EDIT.......top
i.) Top players like Zack Steffen, Romeo Lavia, Luke Mbete, Finley Burns, Josh Wilson-Esbrand and CJ Egan-Riley?
ii.) The point that the team that wins the trophy tend to have their season go off a cliff, and as most sensible people are capable of deducing for themselves a third round match ≠ the final

But other than catastrophically missing the point on both bulletpoints, solid argument...
