Like many other managers at PL level, Hassenhutl only has one way of playing. Nuno Santo is the same, so is Wilder, so is Fat Sam, so is Dyche. Maureen is obviously the chief culprit in this.
It works if you have the right personnel for it (as Wolves did with Jota and Jimenez). Otherwise it is a recipe for disaster and confidence is eroded so quickly as players know that if certain things happen in a game, the guy on the touchline won't have a clue how to respond.
Currently the managers I've been most impressed with this season in terms of showing a willingness (and perhaps a grain of humility) to adapt when necessary have been Rodgers, Moyes and Bruce. The latter is the most limited of that group and has the most limited group of players, but he deserves credit for drastically changing his approach in an attempt to improve results (which with the return of Saint-maximin, he has).
