Anyone think Hassenhuttl could be on the verge of being sacked? Went from being quite a revelation at Saints but has now suffered 7 losses from 8 games. Not looking good for him at the moment.

I think he'll be allowed quite a lot of leeway, because they're basically safe and have a lot of injuries.
Really appalling form, though. Losing to Bournemouth in the FA Cup could be damaging.
It's possible, but Hassenhuttl had them playing well and getting good results until their recent drop.
Howe probably has a few decent clubs looking at him, so sacking their current manager to go after him might be a risk.
There's also the slight animosity between Saints and Bournemouth, but I doubt that's a factor.
Not sure the 20/1 odds on him being the next sacked manager are particularly sensible, though.
While it's understandable that their form plummeted when they had most of their first team out injured, which is barely an exaggeration, but the slump's continued even when most of them are coming back into the team
Ings' inability to play 90 minutes is certainly becoming a problem, though

The reality for clubs like Soton is they need their best 13 or 14 players available, fit and in form.
This season has highlighted the need for a big squad where players can be rotated to keep them fresh.
Even Liverpool have been found out.
The 9-0 was great, but it was only possible because they had to play kids woefully out of their depth at this level.
Clubs shouldn't judge their managers by the criteria which might have applied in past seasons - this is a completely different kettlefish

Looked great last season, but struggled in this one and then got a bad injury.
To be honest, it's still early days and I don't want to be too judgemental because he's only started 4 games for us. He looked very sharp to begin with, and seemed like he'd link up well with the other 3 attackers. But the last 2 games, he's been abject (can maybe give him a free pass for the City game, as he's never had to play a side of that quality nor was he the worst player on the pitch).
Tonight though, I really wanted him to showcase his qualities and prove to us why he's so highly regarded. Sadly, he put in a pathetic performance. Didn't want to take responsibility, kept passing it every time he received it, no intent to take players on or carry the ball forward, which is what he was doing initially, and he rarely got into the box. There was just no aggression or conviction in anything he tried today, including his off the ball work.
I'll give him more time, but right now, it's been a mixed start.
I'm more concerned at the fact we're relying on a 19-year old in Saka to single-handedly save us every week. Smith-Rowe has gone off the boil but this is his first proper run in the Arsenal team, so it's understandable. However, no-one else is taking the baton over.
What makes it all the more frustrating is that Arteta is ostracising Pepe (who was in decent form before being dropped for no reason) and Martinelli (who's been back from injury for two months now) by underutilising them, whilst simultaenously over utilising other players.
His squad management has been poor. He got out of jail tonight, but it doesn't bode well for the rest of the campaign.
A sentence which can be used for approximately all of Sheffield United's players this season
