Yeah Sissoko is in a weird position where we need him for the big games but absolutely don’t need him for the games we expect to dominate and control possession.

Sissoko, Hojbjerg, Tanguy in big games

Hojbjerg, Tanguy
Lo Celso/ Dele/ New CAM for games we should control.

When did Spurs last dominate and control possession?

If Woolwich v Penited ends a draw, we will have the opportunity to gain 2 points on Utd and Arsenal, (as well as 3 on Everton), we all know what that means for tomorrows game at Brighton.

The reasons why I was ****ed off with our December slump at the time, as that came when most of the top eight were playing one another so were guaranteed to be nicking points off each other, and we failed to capitalise because somebody thought our backline could sit on a 1-0 lead for 65+ minutes...

Goons have been the better team by far ... Will consider themselves unlucky not to be in front tbh

It was a strange one - I thought United probably had the slightly better quality of chances, but we had some greats opportunities too. We looked vulnerable every time they countered us, though, and toward the end of the first-half, we struggled to deal with their overloads on the right hand side. Was fortunate not to concede. Second-half, we had better chances to score. Overall, I think you could tell it was an extremely tactical game, with both teams cancelling each other out, and focusing more on limiting their opponent. Both sides took a slightly more conservative approach in and out of possession.

We've kept two clean-sheets against them and took 4 points off them for the 3rd season running, so I'm not too disappointed with it. Especially as we had 3 of our best players missing for this one. They haven't beaten us in the league since Wenger left.
