Yeah I've seen the Kick Off once or twice I think, it's with the hench bearded geordie bloke and a few others, right? If so that one's pretty good and I enjoyed their stuff as well as the level of humour, wasn't petty ****, it was good solid dry and sarcastic banter and that's right up my street. Would happily watch more of that.

Yeh thats the one, decent discussion for the most part, another one is called the beautiful game podcast, they have a lot of current and ex pros who do interviews with them, I watched the Sturridge one this week and it was fantastic to hear him talk candidly about his time with us and before and after.

I Aint watched this one but he's ex spurs so might be interesting for ya

A bloke calling himself Ninja who streams online games got paid $30m to switch from Twitch to Mixer, which was Microsoft's streaming service.
Thirty ****ing million.

If that wasn't bad enough, the whole thing shut down after six months, he kept the money and switched back anyway.
He's a massive twat, too.

The fact that Ricky Sacks was behind it probably helped...

Reports in Italy suggesting that Christian Eriksen would consider a move to Arsenal and the possibility of Granit Xhaka being swapped to Inter Milan in exchange is being considered.

Despite his struggles in Italy, I still think he’s a quality player. However, I wouldn’t be keen on this at all.

For one, I don’t see how he fits into the current team and he had this same issue at Inter Milan, where they didn’t know where to utilise him in a system he’s not accustomed to.

Secondly, considering the players we’ve had from our rivals over the years e.g. Welbeck, Silvestre, Gallas, Cech, Luiz, Willian, this sort of transfer has similar vibes to it. A player approaching his 30s, will demand high wages, no resale value and uncertainty over where he fits into the side.

I’m sure we can all hope this doesn’t come to fruition, even if the reasons may not be the same.
 
Would be amazed if Eriksen signed for you tbh.
He made a big deal of how much he respects our club and the fans...can't see him being as big a twat as Campbellend.

That doesn't make sense for Conte, either

He's got Vidal, Barella, Brozovic and Vecino already for the two CM spots (and Barella usually playing as a No10, but don't you dare suggest he's doing it to spite Eriksen...) so where would Xhaka fit into that?

Does Conte even know what he's doing at this point?

If there’s one thing you can’t rule out in football, it’s double standards. Plenty of situations where players/managers have said one thing and then done a 360 later on. Your current manager is living proof of that <laugh>

I don’t think it’ll happen either, and I don’t want it to, but if it does, will be interesting to see how the reaction to it would be...

He’s had 6 straight wins in Serie A, and it’s fairly well known he struggles to handle multiple competitions at once. So all seems to be well (right now). However, he’s been responsible for some very strange transfers in the past and wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if there’s some substance to this.
 
Think as BG said you can never truly rule anything out but I do highly doubt Eriksen would join Arsenal.

He rejected Utd's advances because he said he won't join another English club before his move to Inter and despite a poor ending with us I think Eriksen really did enjoy and respect his time here, so he knows what would happen if he joined Arsenal just a year after leaving Spurs. It was also rumoured that he just simply doesn't want to return to England as he wants a new challenge.

I think it's also weird if there's any truth in Arsenal actually wanting him too considering they have Ozil. Personally - and I think this will be an Arsenal vs Spurs thing - I think Eriksen has been better than Ozil for a good years now (Real Madrid Ozil was a different beast though) but ultimately they're extremely similar in style, so if Ozil can't even get registered where's the logic in wanting Eriksen? It's not as if Eriksen would represent a much cheaper option either, he's on £230k at Inter, would likely demand a 4 year contract at least and I can't see Inter selling for a minimal fee, at least the £22m they paid us.

And VAR can't see that? Actually lets look at the options logically.

1. VAR can't see that = incompetent
2. VAR can see that but don't think it's a problem = incompetent
3. VAR can see that but decide to rule in favour of the richer team = corrupt
4. VAR don't think VAR should have jurisdiction over that (maybe a combination of 2 and 3) = incompetent and/or corrupt

I can't really see any other options, can you?

VAR couldn't act on it, as the ref blew his whistle before Bowen had the chance to score.
He shouldn't have stopped play when he did and it cost West Ham an equaliser.

I don't object to referees missing fouls because they might be unsighted. But giving a foul when there isn't one proves he is guessing. He should be sacked

I don't think that's true. He's mistaken. He thought that the contact was between the two players, rather than Silva tripping over himself.

Blowing the whistle was a bad mistake, but letting things go and then checking them on VAR is new.
Chris Kavanagh's pretty young, so he hasn't got the excuse that he's been doing it that way for decades, but it's a slip into an old method.

As for the trip, I think it's fairly easy to see why he got that wrong.
He's looking through that group of three players and it's clear that Silva is tripped, so I understand the mistake.
He mistakes the self-contact with Bowen clipping him. It's wrong, but it's not a massive, strange error.
