Wenger told a story this week about how he signed him ahead of us, despite having a meeting with the pope while doing it.
We didn't sign a striker that season, having to make do with one of our youth players, instead. Shame... <whistle>

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he managed to nip in front of rivals Tottenham to sign Danny Welbeck, now 29, from Manchester United in 2014, despite having to break off negotiations to meet the Pope. (Wail on Sunday)

The nails for the Wenger PL manager coffin were slowly being
produced season by season since 2012. By my reckoning, this one
was the penultimate nail that hubris meant he "did not see it" ...

That was also the time it was becoming clear that players only signed for Arsenal because they didn't get an offer from anywhere else, or because a club was looking for a willing patsy to meet FFP regulations

Scottish and Irish descent. There's quite a bit of Irish in Argentina.

Zenit are playing Brugge with an actual crowd. It's supposed to be limited number, but it doesn't look that limited, to me.
Plenty of noise, but not a lot of social distancing. Clumps of fans, then big gaps.
