The thing that I don't understand is the Arsenal players were consulted about this decision and they themselves even voted for him as the preferable option. He probably does do a lot behind the scenes and in the dressing room, but on the pitch, he simply isn't good enough.

It's a bewildering decision and it's one that is going to cost Emery his job.

To be fair, this situation certainly shows how ****ing stupid the Arsenal players are. And how stupid Emery is.

A captain should be someone who leads by example and can rally the players when the going gets tough. He should carry out instructions and ensure others follow. Xhaka has never, ever done that, and is one of the main reasons why we've failed to get CL football since we signed him.

They've all attached themselves to a player that is not at the required level.

I know how this is going to end.

The inner dialogue stuff is brilliant and every character in it is appalling in their own way.
A lot of it stays disturbingly applicable, too:
"Looking at porn is like lying to Parliament. It used to be wrong but now it’s all a big laugh."

Shame I don't have Sky Sports the Utd Arsenal (U ARS) game sounds a corker. 1 shot between them in 30 mins according to the beeb.

****ing awful. Plenty of falling over in the rain and virtually no quality.
Might get interesting in the second half though, as they're both being a bit filthy in bits and it could kick off.
