I watched some of the Arsenal match.....hoping for some schadenfreude. They conceded another 24 shots but won 3-0 with two goals against 10 men in the last 10 minutes.

Ridiculous, but I can just about accept Russia as part of Europe given that it does account for such a large part of Europe's total area.
Kazakhstan has some part of it to the west of the Ural mountains, but not much. Astana is further east than Kabul.
Part of it is west of the Urals so it counts as in Europe. Astana is in Asia though.
I think this might explain a few things...

If Jovic or Haller were still at Frankfurt, I'm convinced we wouldn't have won the game. We could easily have been 2 or 3 goals down before Willock got the opener.
