Ricky's effort never get's old,does it? We had one or two useful players in that team! If we had had Graham Roberts in this season's team I don't we would have crumbled ( and we got him from non league!....via Bill Nick,I believe!) Wonder if our scouts are at work...…?

An excellent thread on Manchester City's....errr...'questionable' owners and their activities.

On a serious note though, it really does make for depressing and angry reading. I know pretty much every billionaire hasn't exactly accumulated their wealth 100% ethically, but these lot really do take the biscuit IMO.

It just makes City's achievements seem even more hollow.

How much blood has been spilled for a few shiny trophies and new facilities? At what cost?

Should win a pot or two there,as he eases himself into a retirement job...….
The irony is that Kompany's first season as Anderlecht boss is a hell of a lot easier due to the club conspiring to not qualify for European football next season in spite of the Belgian league being engineered in such a way that it would take effort to have Anderlecht or Brugge fail to qualify for Europe

PSG President is under investigation for corruption on the bidding process for the 2017 and 2019 Athletics world championships, if he's on the fiddle for that what else has he got his dirty paws on ?

All these big money geezers coming into football to satisfy their ego at the cost of the game itself. Looks like we are slowly losing our "poor mans game!" to the likes of City,United,PSG,Real,Juventus...etc etc.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the owner of PSG, has been charged with corruption in relation to Qatar's bids to host the World Athletics Championships in 2017 and 2019.

Of course, such actions could exist in complete isolation to his actions as PSG owner.........................<laugh>

This 'gentleman', the owner of Citeh, Abramovich and the like are not ones to tolerate healthy competition. It's not something that they are used to or prepared to tolerate. They win........at any cost.

I wonder if anyone in this country would have the cajones to bring charges.........?

<laugh>
