It can't be a Liverpool v Spurs CL final and an Arsenal v Chelsea EL final can it? Can it?

Barca have had that defeat coming for years and a part of me is glad they suffered it, especially after the refereeing debacle against PSG.

Also it will only reinforce their urgent need to strengthen their defence by signing Kieran Trippier for £60m.
He'd probably do better than Soggy Bob, to be fair. The manager didn't learn a thing from the first game.

The Spanish press will be completely rational and reasonable about this setback for Barca.

In fairness, Valerde isn't popular amongst the Barca fans for his turgid brand of football and over reliance on Messi to get them through games. Also, this is the second year in a row where he's bottled the Champions League after a healthy lead.

I will be amazed if he is still there at the beginning of next season.

Really? I never would have guessed that from watching that game. <whistle>
I really don't get how he watched the first leg and then started Roberto over Semedo again. Mind boggling.
