I couldn't give a **** if we won it in a Lucky Dip.

We need the money and pulling power that tournament gets you. Those spawny ****s from Woolwich would be having an open top bus parade if they finished above us.

**** 'em. For once the luck is ours!

Chelsea face Leicester away at the weekend.
Sorry, I thought it was Burnley but they can still lose it, a draw against Everton would do for us.

I see it's Arsenal away to Burnley, that's what was confusing me.

Leicester have the right man in charge methinks and a good season coming.

With Lamella mostly injured and Mouro in and out the Frenchie and the flying Dutchman could help the club out.....if they are at the end of their contracts. The close season should be utterly chaotic with clubs fighting for new players...like Spurs,Arsenal,Chelsea and United and...………...

In fairness it was a very, very soft penalty. But Xhakahaha was inept to let March march across him, and totally daft to stretch an arm out and give him an excuse to go to ground. You can even see the Arsenal player glance at the covering defender coming to close March down before he decides to stick the arm out. Maybe the covering player was Mustafi and so he thought 'feck it, penalty is better than a certain goal'?

But with so much at stake it beggars belief how poor United and Arsenal were.
Wasn't the arm. Caught him with a knee. MOTD2 showed it clearly. The Arsenal penalty was disgraceful reffing.

So, the skin of our teeth luck is holding, let's hope it continues.

They have a very talented, well-balanced squad that has a nice mix of experience and youth.

They've picked up their fair share of dross in the market but have made some very smart acquisitions in the likes of Maguire, Pereira, Maddison and Tielemans (all of whom we were linked with of course).

Add to that promising youngsters like Chilwell, Barnes and Choudhury and it becomes clear why Puel got the sack. That team should be banging on the top 6 door, not coasting in mid table.

Whether or not Brenda is the right man for the task remains unclear as he is still in his honeymoon period. It'll be interesting to see what moves they make this summer with quite a few players like Okazaki, Fuchs, Morgan and Simpson coming to the end of their careers.

I see them, Wolves and Everton as potentially huge threats next season. Screw up another summer and the likes of United and Arsenal could find themselves battling for 8th place.

Couldn't put that better. I'm also going to tip Burnley to upset a few apple carts next season, I'm going to forget where they've ended up this season.

Tielemans is in the Alderweireld 2016 zone (hopefully with the same outcome) .
