They gave us Mikael Silvestre and Danny Welbeck though, so it's not evened out. I think it's only fair if they take Mustafi and Xhaka from us. We'll even drop them off at Old Trafford for free!

You're right, but since they last won the league, they have finished 7th, 4th, 5th, 6th, 2nd and now they will be 5th or 6th again. They haven't competed in the league or CL since Fergie was there, they are dropping in and out of the Champions League/Europa League spots, there have been well-documented issues both on and off the pitch, and now there is even more competition at the top of the table.
They are literally living proof that it's no good being a huge commercial powerhouse if you don't have a proper strategy and you don't invest wisely.
They will never have that period of dominance again. So if their league positions continue to fluctuate as wildly as they have been, it will not be sustainable.
They still have Ashley Young and Phil Jones in defence, hire a minibus and we can send all our cast-offs to them
