Media Referee almost had a good lineup. Almost...
Lloris; Foyth, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies; Dier, Skipp; Son, Alli, Lucas; Janssen

On the other hand, most pundits are talking about a strikerless pairing of Lucas & Alli up front, because Alli's ben on fire lately...

On holiday or living down there?

I used to travel down there pretty often a decade or so ago. It's a nice spot.
Conference, yes a lovely place , it was funny watching the saltypool game as I took a bit of stick for our result
One scouse got arsey when I clapped the Messi free kick, said I should support the English club until I showed him the photo of the scouse not English banner, Muppet

If we win on Saturday then the last PL game ceases to have any meaning. Full strength at the weekend and midweek please, Sonny hasn’t played for a week, we can go for it

Interesting thought. If we lose to Bournemouth with a weak team we may wave goodbye to the CL next season.....and we could lose to Ajax with a "strong!" team...then again we could lose to Bournemouth with a "strong!" team. Quite a puzzler!

So Arsenal win and Chelsea draw so advantage our rivals and could be an all London final meaning one of them getting one over on us again.

How do they get one over on us by winning a competition that we were too good to be in? Perhaps we should get relegated so that we can win the Championship and get one over on them.

Annoying to concede that early goal. Not sure what's happened to us from set-pieces, as we had a very good record of not conceding from them up until the Palace game a few weeks back, and since then, we've completely gone to **** from corners and free-kicks. Bizarre.

However, we did very well to get back into it and win. Probably should have won by more, as Valencia didn't really offer any meaningful attacking threat in the second half, but we're in a decent position.

If we don't reach the final from this point onwards, we only have ourselves to blame.

Because if one of them win it it's a trophy and automatic entry to the CL, we might not get to a final but it certainly looks like Arsenal and Chelsea will.

because lets face it, a europa league trophy is better than a top 4 spot as you get a trophy and CL. The only way you would out trump that is obviously winning the CL

Anyway, if we do get to the final of the CL it will be a day before them and will put pressure on so Come On You Spurs.

There is a slight problem in missing out on about £50m (minimum).....if you have to earn your money and owe the cost of building a stadium.

Playing in the Europa League could cost United £100,000,000 in TV, gate receipts, sponsorships, shirt deals, etc, etc. next season. Win it or not....nobody's going to be celebrating that at the club. It's losing a £50 note and finding a £5.

Tell him Liverpool is the Capital of Dublin.

you are like Prince Philip on the road and I wouldn't fancy his chances of driving all the way to Valencia :)

Yep, great at "putting the pressure on" (until the pressure gets to you :bandit:)
Well Mourinho thinks that there is now more pressure on the young Ajax players. With one foot in the final he thinks that they will be so excited that they won't sleep and be tired for the return semi. Who knows, he might be right.

Ok Power, what would you prefer? To win the Europa AND CL qualification or just top four with no trophy? Just answering your piece of sarcasm.
