I can see arsenal winning the europa league tbh.

CSKA Moscow are dreadful. Last season in Europe we lost twice to Monaco and failed to win a tie against either Bayer Leverkusen or Genk.

However, we beat CSKA Moscow home and away and their defenders were a year younger than now.

Atletico Madrid and RB Leipzig are a different proposition altogether. If they manage to avoid both of those in the next 2 rounds, they probably will win it.

As has been pointed out elsewhere, twelve years ago when Arsenal last played CSKA they had a lineup that included Akinfeev in goal and a defence made up of Vasily Berezutsky, Aleksey Berezutsky and Sergei Ignashevich - the same as tonight, in other words.

Does anyone else remember how, at around the time of the previous meeting, Akinfeev was being touted as having the potential to be one of Europe's best keepes, with Bayern and Man Utd both keeping tabs on him? What happened?

...other than this howler against Korea in the last World Cup, I mean.

Just had a quick browse at the Russian league and noticed two new teams for this season.
They're currently the bottom two and look like they'll be relegated.

FC Tosno play in St Petersberg and they're relatively close to Finland and Estonia.
FC SKA-Khabarovsk play in Khabarovsk, rather unsurprisingly.
It's 19 miles from the Chinese border and almost directly north of Kyoto and Osaka in Japan.
That's a 3,864 mile away trip, a 10 hour flight and a seven hour time difference.

And if they were in our leagues, they'd no doubt they play each other on a Tuesday night, kick off at 7.45pm

"Cardiff vs Wolves? Can't see any problems with that fixture, so let's put it on a Friday night after plenty of time to get tanked up beforehand..." - Sky Sports
Luckily the 2 teams are sending the supporters to sleep.

I was reduced to trying to make as many words of 3 letters or more from the letters CAR and WOL in the top left of the screen.

Car, war, oar, crawl, craw, arc, cow, col, coal, raw, row, low, law, crow, claw, owl....

Stuck now
If you use Cardiff and Wolves you can get Avoid and Disavow
