That intellectual giant of punditry, Jason Cundy, was on the radio last night. I listened briefly as I was driving to my gig. He was saying, in his best Chelsea-boy accent, that "You can't trust the technology that does those little white lines, my son! An' if you can't trust the technology that does the little white lines, you can't trust any fink, my son!"

Twat!
Fair chance he snorts the little white lines instead.

As was seen a couple of weeks ago, most pundits don't know the laws of the game. Chuck in their need to say something controversial and team bias [Robbie 'Class of 92' Savage and Paul Scholes being impartial? <laugh>] and it's a Luddites charter. Add in the stupidity of McManamanamanaman and Poll still tonguing United's crack and it's surprising they didn't call for....

  • ending VAR;
  • removing goal line technology;
  • taking the whistle from the ref and giving him a handkerchief;
  • replacing the cross bar with tape;
  • returning to the Gold Standard;
  • re-instating the Corn Laws;
  • Trial by Ordeal; and
  • the Divine Right of Kings
Brian, you forgot ducking stools for witches.

On that note has marcus Edwards actually played for Norwich yet
Nope. The manager suggested that he needed to grow up last month and he wasn't even on the bench today.
I hope that he's not another Ravel Morrison, but it's not looking great for him at the moment, unfortunately.

Paul Mariner has got a job on the telly.Didn't recognize him.....but then again,didn't recognize Gilly when he turned out on that day of days....and Terry Dyson! Oh I'm getting too old!!!!?

A couple of months ago I posted supercuts of Edwards and Shashoua in the U23 Champions League match against Dortmund, and Edwards was the worst kind of flash bastard in that match with him dribbling the width of the pitch and generally dicking about in possession - while Shashoua was far more in line with his first team counterparts in how he was using the ball and getting forward.

i had a dream last night that you guys won the champions league.

so get down the bookies lads ;)
