I don't know. I keep getting this overwhelming feeling of deja vu, for some reason.
Weren't you 2nd at roughly this stage last season, by the way?
Yes as a matter of fact we were, with a much less prepared squad.

So the more preparation that you have the lower you go in the table? That's a bit worrying, isn't it?
I think you've confused yourself there pnp mate. We were 2nd around about the same time last year as you stated, a more prepared squad than last season indicates that we will maintain and possibly improve our current position.

Not the other way round. Which is ludicrous really.

You stated that you were higher in the table with a less prepared squad, Sucky.
You're more organised this time, according to you, but lower down. This indicates the opposite of what you're claiming.

Pfft
2nd 3rd 4th all the same pnp. Any one of which will do.

As I said earlier I hope you lot get that 4th spot over the chavs either way.

Guardiola discussing attacking teams:
"I like that, because more than a manager, I’m a fan. When I have to choose, those are the type of teams I like to watch."

“Barcelona, I love to watch, first because I am a fan of the club, I grew up there, and especially because we are in an unmissable period in terms of seeing their great players, especially one [Lionel Messi]. I am happy that in Italy, Napoli are playing in a quite similar way. I identify quite well with how they play and how they want to do things.

“It’s the same with Tottenham. Tottenham can drop points, but always I see the games and think they played well. You always see they have 20, 25, 27 shots on target. And you see that and say ‘wow’.”

Why's he talking us up? I don't trust it. :bandit:

Just confirming what Spurs fans have always known.Like cream, they rise to the top everytime.COYS!

I feel sorry for the Stoke fans. Always hoping to survive every season in the PL. Now it looks like that defence has leaked once too often!

Can't wait til Stoke go.
Horrible football
Horrible managers
Horrible players (except crouch)
Horrible crowd who know **** all about football.

Hoofball merchants who have wasted a space in the premier league for over a decade.

Their only use is to let us beat them by 4 goals (we've beat them by 4 goals in our last 4 meetings...the only time has lost by 4 goals or more to the same team 4 times on the trot in English football history) and to watch them humiliate arsenal every other season.
Other than that they are just a bunch of cloggers... fecking shawcross and Adams...hope they go the way of the dodo

At least they tried to win cup trophies, unlike Spurs who relegated cup ties to reserve games. Perhaps Poch has changed his mind....in the meantime everyone else in the league are busting a gut to win a cup trophy.
Is there a moral to this story? If there is,I haven't found it!

One day Citeh will sack Pep and one day Poch will move on. It's a bit like staking a claim in mining, you don't have to start mining the claim the next day, you just make sure your stake is the best place to be. There is nothing wrong with ambition.

Sorry Smithy but as much as I would like us to win the cup and put out our best side to try and win it suggesting that teams like Stoke try harder is just not true in my opinion. Taking Stoke as your example yes they reached a final (without having to play a top 6 side), but in the 10 seasons that they have been a premier league club we have got further them in 6/10 seasons we have won more ties and loss less often to teams from a lower division.

Both the FA and league cups have been won 8 times in the last 10 seasons by clubs from the current top six and very few clubs (if any) now give the cups equal importance to the league, we as supporters of all clubs want to see our teams win cups, Owners, chairmen, and managers want to finish as high in the premier league as they can.
