Gospel according to jealous fans. Spurs win a game, they are lucky. Spurs lose a game they are bottlers. Spurs have not won a trophy and have no history (evidently football started when the PL was formed). Spurs players and manager will leave, (because those fans want them at their club). Spurs win CL group, (other teams not as strong). Spurs player sales only net profit in five years for top six

Reactions: Spurlock
You can always tell a player who has been genuinely fouled and a player cheating. If a player is genuinely fouled he goes down in a heap but a player cheating is aware enough to hold his arm up to get the ref's attention.

It's the ones who are appealing before they even hit the ground that are the worst. Ballack and van Nistelrooy spring to mind.

Our group whipping-boys of last season CSKA Moscow won 2-0 earlier, meaning that they go 2nd in group A.

They're probably one of the teams I'd like to meet in the knock-outs.

Bigger news is that Igor Akifeev kept his first ever clean sheet in the CL following a run stretching back for 43 games over 11 years to a 0-0 draw with the Woolwich in 2006. <applause><applause><applause>
