How can you be certain the goal was offside? The refresh rate on TV is 50 frames per second maximum. In a fiftieth of a second the relative positions of players' legs can change by more than two feet. If you stopped the replay on the previous frame he would be onside. Technology has limitations too.
 
The PL IMHO is now about ensuring that Citeh do not
increase the current gap further before Dec 10,
and then seeing how the Dec 10/16 games play out.
 
United were dismal. They are a one-track team and simply don't know what to do when fouling and hoofing their way to the back of the net doesn't work.

It seriously riles me that we a) lost to them and b) are somehow below them in the table.

They really aren't that good.

They're an expensive Pulis team, though.
Work hard, stay focused and organised, kick everyone and take advantage of mistakes.
They've got plenty of good players, but they're absolutely awful to watch.
It works for Mourinho, but not for long.
Bores the fans, despite winning loads of silverware, then does a runner before his welcome's worn out.

Agreed. They were superior to arsenal all over the pitch today, and didn't really need the help Oliver seemed determined to provide.

Our run of fixtures leading up to the Etihad is crucial. Arsenal away will be tricky and more often than not ends up a draw, but after that we have:

WBA (H)
Leicester (A)
Watford (A)
Stoke (H)
Brighton (H)

We need 15 points out of 15 from that sequence or else a decent result at the Etihad will probably be meaningless. If we can keep it to 8 until then and use that game to reduce it to 5, who knows...

I think Pogba makes a big creative difference to their midfield, especially now they have Lukaku. Without him, yes I agree, an expensive Pulis team.
 
Stuck on a train with a bunch of Chav fans giving it large how they're just a point behind Man Utd.

Somehow none of them seemed able to understand there's two teams one point better off than they are...
