From the BBC...........
Joselu is down in a heap, and, ooof, ouch indeed! Nick Pope clears downfield, Joselu charges him down and the keeper follows through, kicking the striker right in the Val Kilmers.
Why does everyone find that so funny?! Even Rafa is chuckling away in the dugout.
Years ago, I was proudly pushing my young daughter round a supermarket. She was sitting in the child seat at the front of the trolley, facing me, as is the design of those seats. She was 2 or so and was chatting and singing away to herself as young kids do. Mrs B was actually doing something useful and putting produce into the trolley.
Having turned away from me for a couple of seconds, she turned back to find me missing. In fact, I was on the floor of the shop struggling to breathe and cradling my black and blue genitals as my daughter had decided to kick her legs in time with the song she was singing. A direct hit was scored which felled me like the mighty fallen oak. The lovely Mrs B has never laughed so much in her entire life and said it was the funniest thing ever. She nearly needed to be given oxygen from laughing so hard.
It would appear that there definitely is something about seeing it happen to someone else..........even if you love them. Over a decade later, she'll occasionally laugh about it.
