I know Dortmund probably weren't at their rightful best due to the previous night's events but I think Monaco are proving they really are some side. Not that it's made me any less pissed off at our own CL campaign but losing to them is now looking less shameful. They knocked out City, got an away win at Dortmund and sit top of Ligue 1 which PSG usually dominate. Such a young side too. Lemar, Silva and Mbappe are going to be on every top dog's radar this summer, what a trio.

On the basis that I refuse to comment on the Goons board, I just want to thank RCL for starting my weekend off so well with his knowledgeable and insightful Match Day thread for the Nomads game v Middlesbrough. <cheers>

I would have posted an hour earlier, but have only just stopped laughing!!!
Brilliant stuff, mate <laugh>

Tielemans Watch

24 mins - We've not seen too much from Youri Tielemans - despite the big build-up. But here he is looking to rampage onwards and drawing a cynical trip from the boot of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who goes in the book. He's got no comeback there.

44 mins - Youri Tielemans picks Jesse Lingard's pocket - and Lingard actually takes a bit of a swipe at him - a boot goes swinging in his general direction - with Tielemans already a shadow ahead of him. Anderlecht's lot were not happy about that at all.

United currently winning away in Belgium. If they make the semis in the EL, the games would fall before their games at Arsenal and at WHL.

That's a pretty stiff run of fixtures given that they have midweek PL games in the weeks before and after the EL games (at Citeh and Southampton.) Still, it's all good news for us in the run in.

Weirdly enough when I chat like that at home my family get really quite worried about my state of mind <laugh>

1 - 1in Belgium. There's no way they're getting top 4 in the PL.
