Everton are poor today can't find any rhythm... mind you Liverpool are not much better.
The first 15 mins have been pretty poor apart from the goal

Liverpool now doing their passable impression of the city defence.
3 attempts on target from both teams combined and 2 goals
1 all with 29 gone

Anthony Taylor failing to get to grip with things [again] means this is going to boil over in the second half. A cheeky punt on 2 sending offs, methinks? Barkley's head has gone and one more bad tackle should see things go off like a discarded match in a firework warehouse.

Everton can be really grateful to only be 2-1 down. I'll take the RCL credit as I'd just been slagging Pennington off as nowhere near good enough before he scored. Then he went and looked **** again though so clearly I haven't quite mastered the jinx yet :D

Id be worried if I were a pool fan cos they are only 2-1 up and Everton have been shocking.
That can not continue in 2nd half cos Koeman will surely change things.

Inovluntarily blurted out "oh you twat" when Mirallas came on. I hadn't seen the line ups and assumed he was injured. Why in **** was Koeman starting that Calvert-Lewin kid over him? I'm sure those youngsters are decent but there was far too many of them out there today, they needed proven experience for such a big game.

Zaha continues his audition for a move to Spurs, if the media are to be believed:

Nicely done, to be fair.

Everton were dreadful - particularly Lukaku and Barkeley. (Are we seriously looking to buy him? <yikes>)
But their defence is old and slow, Jagielka and Williams particularly, but even Baines is limited these days. How the **** they have managed to stay in the top 7 is beyond me!

I think that West Brom's last couple of results really show how well we played against them.
They comfortably beat Arsenal and shut down Utd at Old Trafford, while we absolutely battered them.
They're only six points behind the Goons now, though our visitors from Woolwich do have three games in hand.

The following teams cannot finish above us this season
Bournemouth
Burnley
Crystal Palace
Hull
Leicester
Middlesbrough
Sunderland
Swansea
Watford
West Ham

Best not mention them in this thread, eh?
There's only one we'd likely mention - and they have their own thread!! <laugh>
