Plymouth are defending well, Liverpool have had one or two half chances but nothing clear-cut.

@remembercolinlee is that you?

Wenger worried about Chinese dollar-lolly. Are the Chinese that football crazy?Are the Chinese really communists because Mao must be turning in his grave!

Little twit in North Korea next to go football mad?......after he puts his missile toys away,of course.......!

I've asked a few times but nobody knows or has replied, and also not seen it mentioned in any story by sports "journalists" in connection with these transfers but how can a Chinese football club possibly afford those transfer fees and wages?

Many of the CSL sides are bankrolled by ridiculously wealthy companies (as in Sheikh Mansour wealthy I believe). I read that the president of China is also a massive football fan and wants China to hold the world cup one day, to do so you apparently need a good domestic league (not sure how accurate that is though, I just presumed it was who gave FIFA the most money in back-hand envelopes) so I think he's just encouraged the CSL sides to go all out for the best available talent to boost China's reputation of being a footballing powerhouse.

West Brom have reacted to our recent mauling of them by trying to be more like us:

In other Baggie news, they've agreed a fee for Saido Berahino with Stoke.
He's currently discussing terms and wondering how to get out of it. Possibly.

If I were Berahino, I'd wait until the summer and go on a free. Not only will it **** WBA over but also grants a much better chance of a bigger contract with a greater signing on fee. More will be interested than just Stoke, too.

A few people on Twitter have pointed out that we signed Alli, Dier and Rose combined for less than that

...or to put it another way, a few people on Twitter haven't considered the likelihood that we're getting a percentage of that fee.

Worth a mention here as two potential rivals next season meet tonight - Brighton (2nd) v Sheff Wed (6th). Both came close to promotion last season. It was cruel how Brighton were denied an automatic place. Should be a good game.

Yeah I'd really like to see Brighton go up. They have everything in place to be a good premier league team. Away trip to Brighton would be good fun as well!
Knockaert and Stephens are 2 players who wouldn't look out of place in the premier league as well.
