Mandzukic is replaced by Muller. Another player on a card removed, but it's probably more about bringing on the more clinical striker.

I can't believe that Ozil is putting in such a lazy performance in a game of this size. What a prick.

Watching players like Ozil make you realise how signing VDV for 8 million was one of the best deals in premier league history. at least he cared about performing and had more quality then Ozil.

...

This is a graphical representation of utter domination. Between kick-off for the second half and the hour mark Bayern Munich had 90.5% possession. Extraordinary.

I don't think that there's any doubt about Ozil's quality, for me, it's just that he's something of a luxury player, quite like van der Vaart.
You almost have to build your side around them to get the best out of them and I'm not sure that Wenger's done that or that he'd be willing to.

VDV has more quality then Ozil, he scores, assists and doesn't need world class players around him to perform, plus while VDV was a "luxury" player, he showed passion for the shirt. Ozil simply doesn't care about his performance and has zero passion for the shirt.

Van der Vaart certainly seemed to have more affinity for the club than Ozil does, that's for sure. He almost defined what we're about though, so perhaps that's not surprising.

That's better, shame BM missed a penalty. Arsenal must still be pretty happy though, only conceding two after having their keeper sent off in the 34th minute. They have had a lot of help from the ref though.

3rd post for BM isn't it?

Arsenal had 12% possession in the second half, completing just 62 passes to Bayern's 508. There is only one result when you're up against a barrage like that.
(BBC stats)

Oh, dear!

Just when we thought that Arsenal could not embarrass themselves more than they did against Barca a few seasons back... oh, wait! they just did!

Gooners will be absent from the site all of tomorrow, I'm predicting.

I wonder if our fans, who for some reason want the goons to win trophies, will be disappointed? how any spurs fan can want the goons to win trophies is fairly pathetic (no offence). You can admire Wenger or the goons for their football, but to want them to get success? can't understand that.

Luckily, no matter how talented Wenger is they will never win the league (again) or champions league while he is manager.

As far as our PL rivals go, you want to them to go to the SFs of all competitions
and then lose. The more games they play, the more chance that the toll on their squad
will help Spurs cause.

The Gunners are mad <laugh>

Look at this post from the goons board

I've had a couple of drinks, enjoyed a very exciting game in the best competition in the world against the best team in the world in which we matched them in the first half and lost after a red card in a rather respectable manner given the quality of the performance.

Exciting game? Bayern had 90.5 possesion second half and I suspect he had "a couple of drinks" after their keeper was sent off! No passion, just like Ozil.

I don't think there are any Spurs fans who want Arsenal to win anything? I hope you aren't thinking of me with your post, because that would be a distortion of my position.
