Barcelona are terrible at defending balls played with height into the box. Small, weak, passive, Valdes isn't commanding his box. Surprisingly bad.
So many of Barca's 1st legs away in the KO phase are like this, play within themselves to do as least as poss to draw, then explode back at Camp Nou. I had a very good feeling that all things being normal, no silly decisions, it would be fairly boring as a spectacle.

Yeah, you leave your line for that kind of pass in order to pressure the player but Hart wasn't close enough to pressure him and too close to react properly to save. Probably should've gone down but I wouldn't have been surprised if Alves just lifted over him if he did that.
Barca might not have been at their formidable best but it was still impressive from them today. City really could've done with Aguero to make things happen for them, Negredo has been poor lately.
