Villa's front three should fancy their chances against a Liverpool defence that I can't see getting great protection from a Lucas-less midfield, but their midfield and backline won't be good enough.
Easy win for the Scousers, I think, but Villa should be able to carve themselves a few chances on the break.

I see Suarez missed out on the Oscar nominations this year, a bit of an over-site or what?

Looks like PNP nailed this one in terms of the Liverpool midfield. Gerrard being shown up big time.

Is there anyway of Cissoko getting England qualified? We could do with him in the 6 Nations.

The mousers must be over the moon with the score-line at half time. Villa could easily be three or four goals to the good save a post and some awful finishing. Only one goal behind, against the run of play as well, I bet the mousers dressing room is bubbling.

It's not his fault, when Roy Rogers sent him out he said 'we need 3 pts today'.

Minimal if any contact. The ref got conned there. Went to ground so easy. Are the refs that gullible? One of those only ever given at home.

Well it's like Sterling's last week or whenever it was - a "Spanish penalty" was the description right?

Liverpool extend their lead at the top of the Premier League Penalties table, then. There's a shock.

This ref Jon Moss reminds me of Spurs, he generally has one really good half and one half that is a disaster.

Lucas is injured. Now we know why he didn't start. No backup?

No contact, Guzan pulled out, like against Bale. Alan Smith says that you have to expect forwards to go down. No you don't, it's cheating, it's the same as saying the keeper shouldn't come out to a forward

Don't get me started on their snub of Jake Gyllenhaal...

Simple, the ref needs the opportunity to consult a video/4th official replay.

Why don't they all just do what they used to do with Bale and book Suarez every time he goes down in the box?

That's another dive by Suarez. Sylla's just running past him to get to the ball and he sticks his leg into him and goes over.
You can't go near him without him either fouling you or diving.

Where is the professionalism of these guys? If someone kept doing that to me I'd see to it that he went down and didn't get up again.
