Fergie is the king of WUMs (manager wise)! The reaction from his book is hilarious as virtually everything he has said is the truth and people are trying to say he lacks credibility.

You can accuse fergie of many things, but lacking credibility, I don't think so!

  2. I've said it before, that the art of decent wumming is a dying art.

    From a penalty!

Just how much more luck is Arsenal going to rely on against these easy sides?

A few of my FB friends have been banging on about Palace getting a famous victory today. Better check my news feed to see if that's changed...

Arteta off. Last man, but was it a clear goalscoring opportunity? Controversial, I think.

Foy then ignores a blatant foul and a clear booking. Can't upset Wenger too much, eh?

Chesney keeping Arsenal ahead at the moment. Two good saves in quick succession.

    Cmon you eagles!

Fair play to Palace for actually having a live eagle in the ground. Not many teams take there crests that seriously. Perhaps they should!

Would make stamford bridge more fun if they had trap doors with lions in, like in gladiator.

Or random cannon fire at The Emirates.

Palace holmesdale support (B block) are quality. Flares, bouncing, songs, flags, massive banners. Great to stand with.

2-0. <doh> Palace have no quality whatsoever. Really didn't pass the ball well enough when they had a man advantage.

I think l'arse had a disastrous afternoon today, if they hadn't beaten Palace everyone would have written them off and losing Arteta for 3 league games and Flamini for 2 or 3 weeks is going to make the next few difficult games they have to face even more difficult. A couple more injuries it could get interesting.

  17. This commentary was made on BBC Football Live, seconds before Stoke scored their second:

"Relief around Old Trafford! In fact the feeling of relief is almost palpable in our BBC Sport office across the Manchester Ship Canal. Robin van Persie smashes in from close range after Asmir Begovic parries Wayne Rooney's header."

    <laugh>
    Superb!

I wonder if the Pottery lads are singing, "You're getting sacked in the morning"?

    Oh dear!

    Man Utd 1-2 Stoke
Former Tottenham striker Garth Crooks on Final Score
"Manchester United have not been able to handle Marko Arnautovic, he has been outstanding

Is there a pundit which annoys fans more then crooks? Even when he says something normal, he winds people up.

  19. Moyes' United could be just off the relegation zone, come the end of this weekend.

    All kicking off now.

    Man Utd 1-2 Stoke
Fight! Fight! Fight! Tempers flare at Old Trafford as Robin van Persie and Ryan Shawcross have to be separated like naughty schoolboys scuffling in the local park. Shawcross looks to be the aggressor as he attempts to wind up the Dutchman. And he succeeds. Van Persie loses the plot as he squares up to the Stoke man. The referee scarpers down the tunnel for his half-time cuppa without a backward glance.

Will Moyes call for fergies help!
