Eriksen is a good young player with potential to be top class. For now though he would struggle to get game time at any of the other big clubs in england.

2. I think you'll find that most Spurs fans are excited to see what he can do.

I'm interested to see how he progresses, he has the potential to be very good.

Does he not realise that AFC paid for Bale's transfer that, in turn, enabled us to build the team of our dream?

Obviously not.

Some arsenal fan that. Especially with the little love hearts and everything. Wish they were all like that

I think it's fair to say that a lot of man united fans were baffled they weren't in for him.....
He'd probably walk straight into their first XI at the moment.

I was more baffled by their decision to pay £4.5m more for Fellaini than they needed to. Bizarre decision to leave it so late and pay a chunk of extra cash for the privilege.

9. Don't worry, he will, eventually.

10. Moyes' card has got to be marked for that. No way would Fergie have been that remiss.

He (Moyes) needs to look after Everton in case he needs a job in a couple of years time.

A bet it was a relief for Perez to do business with the goons after dealing all summer with Levy. It probably went a bit like this:

ARS - 'How much do you want for the bug-eyed one?'
RM- '€45 M sign here'
ARS - Are there other teams interested, we don't want to miss out?'
RM-'No...No.....well..er..er...oh yeah.....PSG, yeah that's it, PSG, they've offered the same as you',
ARS 'we'll up our bid to €48 M to seal the deal then'
RM-'you better sign on the dotted line before Monaco up their bid'
ARS- 'I thought you said it was PSG who were interested'
RM-'oh ****......did we?......oh yeah we did didn't we......... them as well sorry I forgot....oops...yeah, they're both interested, PSG and Juve'
ARS-'Juve as well, quick, we'll make it €50 M then.
RM- Done! you have been. Sign here, that's half a Bale then please, a fair price for an Ozil. Could you nip up the Seven Sisters and drop the cash off at the Lane. That Levy chap is difficult to do business with, he gave me 14 days to pay or I lose a kidney. Now, Mr Wenger, take your Ozil and please do one. Oh and before you go, we'll have a Benzema available in January, yours for the bargain price of not £27 M, but only 8 deci-bales. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-make-27m-bid-Real-Madrids-Karim-Benzema.html

13. Apparently, Walnut is "excited" that Ozil has joined the club, which is strange, given that he's going to be playing in his position.

Nice try, Walnut. Never mind. You can always engineer a move to Everton or West Ham, next season.

I think he'll be playing in Cazorla's position actually, with the Spaniard moving out to the left, where he looks far less effective when I've seen him play there.
That's why I don't understand why they didn't buy a couple of £20m players in their weaker positions. Having to shift one of your best players to accommodate someone is just... odd.

You're being far too kind. You've missed out this bit of the conversation:-

Whinger: Will you take Walnut in part ex?
Perez: Who?
Whinger: You know... looks like a 12 year old girl, runs very fast, no end product...
Perez: Ah, yes! ir dando palos de ciego, ir de acá para allá sin saber qué hacer!
Whinger: Sorry, my Spanish is not so good...
Perez: [sniggering] Excusey, please... this means, the boy who run around like a chicken with no head.
Whinger: [laughing too, now] Yes, that's the one. How much will you pay for him?
Perez: [suddenly very serious] You want us to pay for him?
[silence for a few seconds]
Whinger: Okay, cash it is, then.

Cazorla has been playing on the left for us anyway and will continue to do so until Podolski is back in 10-12 weeks time. He is actually very effective comming inside off the left and has set up several goals putting the ball in like a traditional winger. He played at Malag more on the left than centrally as well.

Also i think we paid a fair price for Ozil - he is truely WC. And he wouldn't have been available if Bale hadn't gone to Madrid so i'm not sure why you think you got one over on us? You lost your best player, we ended up with a WC player.

18. You've got that the wrong way round, I think... Real would not have been able to pay such a stupid fee for Bale if Whinger had not blown his wad on one player. We're all thankful to him for that, because without Arsenal's cash, we would not have been able to get 7 players (at least three of which are WC).

Ozil is top class, but the inflated fee was borne of desperation by Arsenal needing to make a marquee signing. £35M more realistic for him.

Yes, I know Utd made the same mistake in having to go back for Fellaini two months after he could have been bought for £4M less, but Utd getting stung by ballsing up the transfer window doesn't make Arsenal look any better.

We ballsed it up by making a joint bid, we should have got Fellaini for his buy out fee and then made a realistic bid for Baines if Moyes felt we needed him.
