Guessing we don't want Wigan to win tonight, so the Arsenal game is a must win for them...?

Meaning that they must commit men to try and win and therefore leaving their rather pathetic defence exposed to the likes of Walcott,Carzorla and Rosicky on the break. I would welcome that.

Well that didn't go well for us. Could leave Arsenal with *yet another* game against a team that has nothing to play for.

Like last season then....?

Their situation last season was not as bad as the one they currently find themselves in. Also, last season they were in better form ahead of our game. This time, they come to the Emirates having lost three of of their last five league games. And I think the defeat to Swansea would have taken the wind out of their sails. It was a must not lose, and the way they lost it (horrific defending), would have shattered their confidence.

A win would've been ideal, any points would be useful against Arsenal and Newcastle would be guaranteed to be playing for survival on the final day. Sunderland would still be right in the thick of it too though, I suppose.
