Tom Cleverley is a coward of a player. He never takes responsibility and is always happy to pass it sideways, despite being an attacking midfielder.

cheating is far too strong a word for this particular situation. If Rafael's actions weren't worthy of a red and Luiz went down like that I'd be agreeing with you,

As for throwing elbows, he shoulder barged him in order to keep the ball. Load of bollocks yv.

If you really don't think faking injury in order to try and influence the ref is cheating then I don't know what to say.

Even Ray Wilkins saw the elbows being thrown, your shoulder is much higher up, that's not Luiz was leading with and landing on Rafael each time he took himself away from the ball and threw himself at the fullback. It clearly crossed the line from trying to protect the ball and just going for another player, it's a bit of a weird grey area that allows it to happen at the moment but it's clear what he was doing. Even if you're giving him the benefit of the doubt, Aguero doesn't go around diving in 2 footed on players every week and Rafael doesn't go kicking players every week either so clearly we're not the only ones seeing what Luiz is doing as out of order.

"Are youwatching Levy? the 'Levy' 7 points handicap begin to matter now."

WTF !!??
These are players playing for a TOP 5 PL CLUB EARNING 10Ks PER WEEK.
I am reminded of the folklore when Greavsie allegedly went to ask St Nicholson for a pay rise :

Pay you more money !!?? You should be PAYING ME TO PLAY FOR THIS CLUB.

We started the season before we were ready: Newcastle, remember yhe VdV/Lennon penalty? 1:1 west brom, 1:1 Norwich. Give it a rest, 7 points thrown away because Levy did not wake up until the 31st August.

He also then looked up after laughing and rolled back on his side, covered his face and grabbed his leg again.

He's the victim, he's fouled. Didn't retort so entitled to do as he pleases.

I can understand the frustration but your umbrage should be with that idiot Rafael and Fergie.

Luiz incident aside, I actually thought Chelsea deserved to win what was a poor game. Valencia's crossing was as poor as it was against arsenal and RVP didn't get a sniff as Chelsea set themselves up well at the back. United looked like a side that had nothing to play for. Also, there were many decisions IMO that went against Chelsea due to webb's standard biased reffing towards united. - It pains me to say all of that.

Chelsea might not have been great either, but they looked like they had enough in their locker to get a victory, which in the end they did.

Unfortunately I cannot see us winning at SB, but you just never know in football.

Like I said in the "bottle and run in" thread, technically it's in our hands, but if we're being realistic, it isn't. We really need Arsenal to drop 2 or 3 points. Can't see that happening either.

Fingers crossed though eh?

Have to agree with you, the Chavs deserved the points (and actually looked better than they did under Mourinhio). However, I forcast a while back, that we will beat the chavs and then, in typically Spurs fashion, lose to bloody Stoke. Lets pray I am wrong.

I don't like such blatant and negative cheating. It had nothing to do with the result that I'm annoyed because the incident had nothing to do with the result, United didn't look like scoring and an extra couple of minutes with and United having 11 on the pitch was very unlikely to change the result.

I do blame Fergie for the result and Rafael is of little consequence to me, he lashed out and will get the punishment he deserves. If what Rafael was done was genuinley dangerous, or he'd gotten away with it then I'd be more concerned about his behaviour.

"Give it a rest"

Anyone would think we are playing golf and Spurs start every round with a handicap of -7.

Not quite golf but bang on, Levy's pre season negociations are worth about -7 points, season after season. The guy saves us 5 or 6 million at the start of every season which ends up costing us 25M every year.

Well its also in Chelsea's hands, and Arsenals...... So technically it's not in your hands at all.

EDIT: .....which is wrong of course, seeing as you're 2 behind are with a game in hand. Apologies. You DO have your work cut out though.

At this point in time, Arsenal's fate is not in their own hands. That may change depending on the outcome of Chelsea v Spurs on Wednesday. However, if Spurs win that game, both Chelsea and Spurs will qualify if they each then win their final two games.
