Going from defending Aguero to full on Daily Mail letters pages? One of them sounds like his honest opinion, one sounds like someone else's - someone who is more interested in complaining about the non-award of a penalty, for instance.

I know, but maybe he just didn't realise how nasty the challenge was until he saw it.

If Norwich can go ahead at the Emirates then so can Everton, that would have scared Arsenal especially as their goals had huge elements of luck behind them. I'm going for Everton.

No one mentions the devious elbow that Luiz threw (and throws regularly). Aguero's reaction was too much and should have been sent off, but the provocation was worth a booking (and therefore a 2 match ban).

It's a bit simpler for you lot <steam>

What if Everton won by 15 goals and went 4th? Actually I suppose that would still be good for you :D

Not worried about Everton, still stand by my prediction Liverpool will finish above them plus we still have them at home so finishing above them in our hands and they still have Liverpool away.

Even if Liverpool were in the Championship and Everton top of the PL I'd still put my money on Liverpool (especially at Anfield), they can't beat them, Hodgson was the only one to have lost to them in ages.

Arsenal Everton is one of the few games where the worst possible result still does us some good. We definitely want the CL race down to three teams, and Everton losing would be an important step in that direction.

There's different ways of looking at this. It's a right catch 22.
If arsenal win, they go four points clear of us. yes we'll have a game to play, but that's against City! if we lose that, looking at the table and being 4 points behind them could mentally affect the players.
We need the pack to stay as tight as possible, IMO. A draw is the perfect result tonight, as both teams drop 2 points. However, an Everton win which helps them to catch up could be better, as if we win our game against city, we'll go 2 points ahead of arsenal. If we lose, we're still only 1 point behind.

No doubt in my mind we need an Arsenal loss to stop their momentum which atm is a bit frightening.

It was a soft first yellow but Gibson was a bit lucky there, it's a yellow all day. Arteta trying to indicate he was using his elbow is going to win him no friends.
