I think he'll go abroad. I don't know why, but he just screams a PSG signing to me. Especially with Kolo Muani out of favour and looking to move in January. Unless Saviour Complex FC (aka us) try to sign him and see if we can reignite his career. I wouldn't put it past us. Seems like we care more about resurrecting careers than winning trophies these days. But just know that, if we do sign Rashford, I categorically refuse to watch us play until he's gone.
The Paris Galactico experiment seems to be slowly dying out now so Rashford probably would make the right type of signing for them. As for you guys, I actually think you have done pretty well in the market the last few years, you’ve added one or two very good players each window and it’s what I was hoping from us last summer but it wasn’t to be and now banking on as such for this January (but with little faith). The only position I’ve found it odd as an outsider that you haven’t really touched on is the ST position. I think this was something I even said to you about a year or two ago too. I can genuinely see you lot going for a Gyokeres type soon though and if that happens it’ll be very tough to look past you for some silverware in multiple comps.
I can see Rashford going to America or Saudi. Other than that he may make a different big move abroad. Wrexham, perhaps?
I said he looked a baller in our match thread but I highly doubt Saints are gonna keep Tyler Dibling for too long. The guy has a bit of the Mousa Dembele’s about him with how he glides past people with the ball despite not being blessed with pace. That kind of technique is so rare. Zidane was the master of it.
I agree, the kids definitely got something about him and they'll struggle to keep hold in the summer I think...
I’m hoping we become proper slimy vultures and target him the moment their relegation is confirmed… which will probably be around February if they keep losing at the rates they are.
Chelsea play Shamrock Rovers tonight in the Europa Conference. What would've happened if they were still in the League Cup? No idea. Great that there's no VAR in this round of it, though. Liverpool and Arsenal might've gone out otherwise...
What's the idea behind no VAR until the semi final? What would have happened if a lower league team had made it to the semis? Bizarre logic
Ah, but it makes it different from the FA Cup ...although I'm pretty sure "worse" is a more accurate word to use in that sentence
If anyone's bored this evening, then they can watch Sky's weird Tactical View of Germany's two most hated teams: Edit: 1.42 on the clock and it's 1-1. Absolutely nuts.
It's mad watching City struggling again after Kompany's Bayern playing Guardiola-ball yesterday. 71% possession and over 700 passes, scoring five against a side that only had four shots. Contrast that with the very narrow, confidence-sapped Oasis lovers and it's night and day. They'll probably win now I've said that!
City have been awful, Ortega almost went full Forster, but WTF is Walker doing throwing back to him from the half way line. Walker looks finished. Villa could and should be 3 or 4 up.
